Job 23:5-7

Job 23:5-7“I would know the words which he would answer me, and understand what he would say unto me. Will he plead against me with his great power? No; but he would put strength in me. There the righteous might dispute with him; so should I be delivered for ever from my judge.”

Job has lost everything (he believes) at God’s hands. All he wants to do now, is meet his Creator and find out why. He wants to know the mind of God, and understand the Purpose behind all that he has experienced. Have you ever been so confused with your circumstances that you just wanted to give up and ask God, “WHY?” Job was confident that he would get his explanation, and that the Lord would restore his strength, if not his possessions. Do you have enough patience to wait on God, and endure whatever happens to you in this life? Are you satisfied, knowing that even though you cannot see (or understand) His plan, it will all be clear someday? Read 1 Corinthians 13:12. Is it possible Job knew this, centuries before Paul wrote it down? Who will rescue you, when you stand before your Judge?
